What do I make of this?
Congressional district #9 in New York City has gone red.
The questions I have:
1. Would this district have stayed Democrat if Weiner hadn't shown his weiner to women online?
2. Is this really a referendum on Obama? Possibly, given his policies on Israel and the demographic makeup of the district.
3. How conservative is Turner? Is he more like Ronald Reagan or Scott Brown??

It helps that democrat Ed Koch crossed party lines to give the republican candidate his endorsement. It's extremely amusing to note that Weprin is himself an Orthodox Jew, but couldn't win over a district that is primarily - Orthodox Jews.
I think this is more a referendum on the administration in general's policies toward Israel, not necessarily Obama in particular.
